Havent played in some time - but actually upset to read its gone.
I still hold it as the best game i've played, obviously not for its content, but the fun i had playing that back in the days before devils and multis, has yet to be matched.
And lets not forget - without soma and our addiction to it......i wouldnt know you guys.
Fond memories of Basil the first True PK'er, our never ending battle with Eternal_e and scavanger hunts in the orc woods.

Aww  I'm gonna miss the old girl...downtimes, massive lag spikes and the login server going breasticles up....made me the man I am today!! (Even If I did cry lots trying to login ) Remember the good times people.....MoS deserves that much. As Knifey says, without MoS we wouldnt have such good friends  |

yup, had fun times in soma. still nice to see the old names about though. That's the thing in WoW, you're just another name, but he names in Soma were memorable. Not being about to talk to the enemy in WoW sucks. You get pked/ganked by and Allie now and you forget the name by the time you res as they never hang about long enough to have a real fight... Maybe I should get my pserver up and running some day and we can all have a soma party!!! |

At least Blizzard appear to do something about it when it goes wrong. It has noticably been better since that last big spate of downtime. Nothing could beat the lag in beta soma, I bet they had it running on someones office pc while they were playing solitaire! They should release the source code imo now. It's not like they are going to get anymore cash out of it. All the pservers are so limited and with a bit of work you could expand the game no end. Mind you it's probably programmed all in Korean so it'd be good luck to anyone figuring out the code  |

keif there are various developers with tools to do so many things with the game and are working on it if you seee the htread on the forums it gives brief details.

Dude I return to these forums, to see if anyone had played Soma recently and wtf..... its died. >.<
Some serious memories, dating all the way to That Tw@ and Supreme, even further with NHG Knights. Kinda died with the release of this monster, but Soma IMO was best. lol
I wish it hadnt died, as a nice return would have been hilarious, EVIL BRICS >>.<<
Oh well, what a good game!!!
