a biology graduate goes to the congo to complete his thesis. On arrival he meets his guide and they obtain a boat to go down river to get samples.
after the second day the student hears drums and slightly disturbed asks his guides what it means. His guide replies that it is the the local tribe.
The student still worried asks if there is anything to worry about. The guide replies no the time to start worring is when the drums stop.
after the fourth day the student has his samples when he notices the drums had just stopped. Panicing he runs to his guide shouting the drums have stopped the drums have stopped. On hearing this the guide puts his hands to his head and sinks to his knees crying.
really worried the student asks whats wrong the guide replies " bass solo"
