An Orc, an elf and a dwarf are trudging through the desert. The sun is beating down, their muscles tired and achy, and the begginings of de-hydration are kicking in. Without water, they desperately realise that they may soon perish under the burning sun.
To their luck however, the elf with her keen senses spots out a water spring in the distance. Wether this is a mirage they are un-sure, but they go and check it out anyway.
When they get nearer to the pool they notice a large pillar before it, with glyphed runes across its surface. As the dwarf goes to drink from the spring the runes on the pillar spring to life, and the pillar speaks out "I am the guardian of this spring, if you speak the Truth you may drink from the spring, if you lie...then i will destroy you".
The Adventurers share nervous glances and after a few seconds the Elf steps forward and says "My people are the most dextrous in the land, our skill and precision with a bow is unrivalled". The Pillar does not speak at first, but then after a few seconds utters "You may drink from the spring".
The dwarf steps forward soon after and says "My people are the hardiest in the land, our Toughness and strength is un-matched". The pillar again takes a pause and then allows the Dwarf to pass and drink.
The Orc stands still for a few seconds, and then scratches his head in puzzlement. After a long few seconds, the Orcs face lights up with a grin and he steps forward.
The Orc says "I think-", but his speech is immediately cut off by a beam that shoots from the pillar, reducing the Orc to a pile of ashes.
