War Tactics
Hello Athanatusians,
Somewhere in the forum I read about being more organized during wars. Ok then since I got 15 minutes to waist I will give out my ideas.
The Teams
We have two main targets to keep in mind during a war. To protect our leader and kill the opposing leader. So I would divide the fighting party in two. The first party is the defensive party lead by the leader him self and the second one the offensive party, ideally lead by a strong character.
War Roles
Roles are very important during a war. Stick to them for god’s sake! The following are roles I would consider essential.
The weaker character should fill the first role, Support Mages. Now being the weaker does not reduce the importance of the role. THIS IS AN ESSENTIAL ROLE. It is important for the higher levels to have the best advantages over the enemies. Weakened, Confused, Giggled, Blind, Slowed are very very… VERY IMPORTANT spells. Stick to your role and the guild will win cause of your deeds. If in danger run for your life and then get back to your role. Always heal the partners that are getting the hits in your team. Listen to the party chat or guild chat and heal people asking for. Only stick to your team.
Mages. What can I say more…. Nuke em arse. You see a warrior wearing his nice hero, Fry the fooker. He changes armor, do not be bothered, kill someone else and a Warrior will starting chopping him. But take a look at him, if you see him changing again, go for it again and nuke him. If you are on the offensive team, follow your team leader and attack what he attacks as long as he says other. Same when in the defensive team.
Warriors. Same as Mages but kick arse instead of nuking arse.
Free Runners. These guys/gals will be the ones to distract strong enemies and to fill up the holes. You should take care of what the two team leaders say, giving preference to the leader’s orders. If you fooling around distracting an enemy and a leader calls you just leave and go help. Mid-leveled characters should cover this position. Again if in trouble run for your life and when again safe run back to your position.
Leader Position
Stay back for god’s sake and mage mostly. DB is a nice spell. If you stay away from warriors you will not need to change armor.
People in the defensive party should always stay in front.
The offensive party does not need a real planned position. Just stay close always.
Ok then these are the first ideas. What about some feedback people. Get your butts on the forum and speak out. No spam please.
