Athanatus Guild - the future

Hi Peeps!

A serious proposal I think :

It is apparent to me that Athanatus is struggling to do anything much of a constructive nature as a guild any more – very few of our members even play any more and of those that do, only a very small hardcore actually play with any frequency

I would like to suggest that we consider merging our guild with Friends Guild. Friends Guild is a much bigger guild, with a lot of nice, friendly people and they would be happy for us to join them……………….

Hi hi, I know I don't play anymore, but I do come on occasionally on whatever account I can get my hands on to chat with my wife...

Anyway I got the impression that things were a little quiet now in Athanatus with certain people leaving and falling out. It's a real shame, but I have not forgotten you all.

Just before I left Soma Friends was created and as far as I can tell no has a great reputation and friendly feel to it. A bit like the OLD Rebirth even going back a bit before Belial and I joined it. Not to mention Gand and Cippalippa are in friends and still active. I know Belial will be more at home there!

So good luck in whatever decision you make...

I totally agree Mick.

Lately as you all know I log after 10 GMT. I am nearly always alone and to be honest I get bored with no gc.

Lately I had a chat with Gand and explained to him how i am feeling. I respect all of Athanatus and that is keeping me from leaving to join another guild.

He offered me to join them and i will accept cause I really get bored all alone. He also offered me to tag along you guys.

Friends is a good respectable strong guild and I am sure that we would do good there.

Anyway, I just want to tell you guys that I will be joining them. Please do not hold a gruge against me cause I do not feel good about leaving Athanatus. But seriously I find no motive in being in the guild. I could just easily start a guild and be in it alone.

Sorry for this but if i do not do it i will end up loosing interest in the game.

I can understand the way people are feeling at the moment.

We had some great idea's to really progress the guild but sadly, hardly any of these idea's became a reality.

I for one havent played a lot recently because real life has intruded...and I feel that this is likely the cause for everyone else.

I am really gonna miss you Bel (feelings of deja vu here) and expect to be pm'ed loads when I do start playing again ;D

I will stick by the guild until the moment the Closed sign hits us.....guess thats just the way I am.

Good luck to the people leaving and I'll miss you all.

To everyone who is staying......we best get our arse's into gear and do summat about this...when we are online

Well Mick was the first to say what has been thought for ages to be honest.

The trouble is as mick put it so right its untrue, the trouble as I see it is that there is never enuff people online to organise an event, those that remember the supreme days will remember the hunt for belial little n00b (hard to tell which is which I know ) and everyone was always there having a laugh and enjoying playing, sadly this fell flat as people became stronger and stronger and we got left behind and had to spend all of are time lvling to try and catch up to them. We stopped having fun and lvl no stop, so now when we go to have fun there is no one online because they all got bored of the lvling. So as far as joining Friends goes if that what you wanna do then I see no problems because seeing you online is better then not seeing you at all, it's my opion.

Well i may aswell raise my hand as one of those who only plays for little amounts of time here and there.
As already said, life (namely the gf) is taking up alot of my time and i dont find time to play, or when i do find time no-one is online so i leave again.

I must admitt i am a little saddened that this group of great friends are slowly drifting apart, but tis indeed only a game and it cannot be stopped. Joxer has said it, the guild haas been fun from the very beginning with a great selection of people.

I see no reason why we should not merge, it may well bring a bit more life back into the game, if there are new friendly faces and personalities chatting away. I wont leave Athanatus unless it is a block decision from us all and we go together. If the majority stay so will I. You guys decide and i will simply "follow the leader".
