Well, as most of you saw last night, the TWAT was back and well-oiled, so it would seem! Well done peeps for exercising great restraint and not getting into any shout slanging matches. It would seem almost cirtain that Bstard was in fact Ken and I agree with his being booted  He actually re-applied later and I just rejected the application. I /Pos'd ken as the application came up on my screen and he was off line - so a guess that is one more bit of evidence that Bstard an he are one and the same. I for one am sad that Bstard has apparently stopped playing - was a nice guy tbh - and gutted that he appeqars to have given Kenny his character!  Ahh well - for-warned is for-armed  |

It was a bizarre turn of events, Bel. Firstly, Bstard expressed an interest in joining the guild as he had just returned to the game and was guildless (Gens had been trying to recruit via world shout). So, as many of us remembered him, and apart from him being a part-time lunatic (possibly a plus) and a foul-mouthed sweaty, he used to be an ok guy. So, we joined him to give it a whirl as it might be. He seemed friendly, though began to ask questions about who was highest level in guild, who had the best INT etc, just enough to be vaguely suspect.
Then, after a while, Bstard says in g/c "ffs That Tw@ pming me asking to join guild, i not seen him for ages neither" or words to that effect. Even our beer-befuddled brains were now signalling red alert...
So, Gens politely but firmly explained that Kenny was not welcome due to past problems that he had no wish to go into. This seemed to be accepted, though was a tad disconcerting for two other guys who also joined that night and had no idea what was going on.
Some time later, Bstard logs. Soon thereafter (Oo) Kenny pm's Gens asking to join guild...Gens terminates the discussion and blocks his pm's. Kenny pm's Knifer going into one, and discussing stuff that Bstard had said in g/c (Oo).
I don't know exactly what was said to Knifer, he may care to comment in reply here. However, we came to the conclusion that, at the very least, Kenny and Bstard were working together, or, more likely, as they were known to be old mates, that Bstard had sold or given his character to Kenny. Either way, his a$$ was history and I duly expelled him from the guild.
Anyway, we had a few little wars on the outskirts of town and were chilling out thereafter in TYT. Out of the blue, or it was to me anyway, Kenny starts badmouthing Gens in global, saying he has the worst stats in the guild, we only stand a chance because Knifer is in the guild, etc., you get the gist, standard 12-year-old "my nob is bigger than yours" stuff.
In all, it appeared to be the drunken ramblings of a sad, childish, lonely and bitter old man who had obviously forgotten who his real friends were. Well now he has none.
It saddened me, and made me think of a line from the Tarrantino film Jackie Brown. Samuel L. Jackson says to Robert DeNiro "What happened to you, man ? Your a$$ used to be beautiful"...

I can think of a more apt quote...... Mark in the pub talking to some 17 year old numb nuts, who had just slapped his girlfriend "Your a prick, F U C K off" Works on so many levels. |
