Ok, well really im just trying to get these diffrent sections started.

But anyway heres my ideas

* Firstly and most obvious - Guild hunts.....
They must be done.

Ok i thought for guild hunts a great place for them to take place is at leiver beasts. They will provide us with a little challenge, but not to the point where we're getting slaughtered.

A bonus to these is that they drop the new weapons, some of which can be sold at 10's of thousands.... fast money for guild, let alone the 200+ barr drops.

Any weapon that people do actually need, or that are exceptionally good could be bought for barr by the guild - that barr going into the guild fund.

Now everyone knows the problem of when guild hunts get under way, everyone suddenly has an excuse. Well how about if u really dont want to come on the hunt u have to forefit 15k to the guild, sort of like a get out of hunt fee.


*Next is our crafters...

If we, as a guild, store and save all mats into guild stash - our crafters can take as and when they want and convert the mats into items and the items into barr for the guild.....

Indeed, m8, guild hunts are the way to go. I think we need to identify what armour, robes, weapons and so forth are needed by members right now, or in the near future, and target the mobs that drop them. It may be worth posting our individual requirements somewhere ?

From a money viewpoint, Leivers, Riders, and Dungy are always safe bets. Not sure about the non-attendance penalty though, might be counter productive in the same way as guild subs could potentially be.

As regards crafting, the biggest problem I have is hanging round Abias like a twit waiting for re-stock, only to end up with three or four loads of mats before it runs out. Even with Orc metal and Tiger leather, I guarantee to make a profit crafting daggers. And if Bodge and I get S/R, we are all seriously in business...

Both of you have raised some valid points -

I dont think a 'penalty' clause is good idea but we all need to help out the guild.

What if we apply a penalty for every third hunt missed? That way, we can all dodge a couple (if you're that way inclined) and we still have an opportunty to do our bit?

We need some ground rules though, obviously not fair to penalise someone not online, and also us lower levels cant afford massive amounts, so we need a sliding scale for the penalty etc

Just an idea you understand.

I agree tho about not peanalising people offline, seeing as 9 times out of 10 it will probaly be me i find that totally fair

and n00bs can be helped out by our higher members, the added bonus for them coming on the hunts is the stat increase their likley to get.

we could also go on hunts to get all the rare ess' such as apus, wbc, liz and wb

this will help all of the ppl without these ess get them and also make us a bit of cash in the process
