Just a thought really - we are actively building up the level of funds in the GS, with many people crafting admirably to ahchieve this and many helping in gathering mats too.
What are we going to do with the millions of barr that we are amassing tho? Barr in its self is totally useless to anyone unless it is used! How best to use it? For the over all good of the guild has to be the basis for its expenditure. The guild is made up of individuals and thus, by helping individuals, we will help the guild!.
I therefore propose that we use the barr to buy items for individuals who need stuff to improve their characters that they cannot afford themselves, as the guild will benifit from this improvement!
A starting point maybe to buy ess for those who still need them and cannot get them - WB, WBC, etc, People should ask and their individual merit be decided by the leader and actioned as he / she feels right!.
What do you think people? Lets start putting our money to good work!!
Feed-back please!!!!!!!!

Indeed, Mick, pointless getting the barr elsewise. I suggest high level non-craftable weapons and armour, such as shadow tops, boots, bone armour, leiver beast dropped weapons and the like. As this favours only the higher level characters,we can also buy top of the range mats so that the crafters can make quality equipment for those who don't yet have the stats to wear/use the aforementioned stuff.
Essences are also an option, but I recommend only Apus and Akah as I reckon they're the only ones that it's impossible to get solo.
I may be moving into the realms of fantasy here , but how about spell upgrades ? Granted SP's, AT's, diamonds and so forth are ludicrously expensive, but possibly a future option ?
Now the hard bit...who decides who gets what ? Bit rough to put it all on Gens. Perhaps a council vote ? Don't know about requests either, fear we may get the same people asking all the time. Possibly we could update the wish list section and use that ? Everyone would have to post though, to be fair.

I think ess r best to spend guild funds on :-
1. with everyone in hero and with a certain top crafter having sr (very soon) it will save loads on people buying armour.
2. All armour for players under 50 str are craftable and from experimenting using enhanceing mats will not make that much difference to stats. ie only 1~1 increase. the same as accessories which skullo will soon be able to make.
3. the only other option is uncraftable weps which is where the wish list coms in (on which i have been very lazy organising and will get on to it stright away). i will post later today.

Nice to see we thinking along the same lines guys! Need more responses from other tho still! (Bodge - would be good if you could make this thread sticky ). I think getting everyone into hero is a good opening goal - Guild hunts could help here too - we swamp an area and keep going till we find the required ess..... From personal experience - hero is invaluable in faster lvlling (TAKE CARE OF YOUR HERO BOOTS ESPECIALLY - THEY ARE YOUR SECRET WEAPON!!!) Hero lets you fight at least one mob higher than you could otherwise = faster stats. In the same vein; enhanced other armours (1~1 on helm, top, pads & boots = 4~4 over-all) - well worth having!!!! The use of jewelry to add lvlling is also often overlooked too and should be used by everyone to aid their progress!! Come on people - it's your guild - speak up!!!

Blimey Bodge, you have been caning it, SR just around the corner ? Better get my a$$ into gear for the weapons then By the way guys, it is no secret that I've been able to craft accesories for months now (20.0 skill), but noone other than Bel has ever asked for any ! As regards the top mats, I can obtain +2+2, possibly even +3/+3, so I still think this is valid. Also may be worth targeting the mobs dropping accessory mats for mini guild hunts, i.e swampies, skellies and liches. Help Skullo to get the necessary skill, and we can get Wind Bands and Flesh Guardians too !

Spend the guild money on mats, the more mats we get the more money we get to spend. Also we could treat the stash as a sort of bank where u get loans. Give a certain date on when to pay backn no interest of coursen ( i wanna be the loan shark)

Some more thoughts :-
M-tag weapons - Dear, but within the bounds of reason. I've never possessed one, but surely they must help with levelling e.g. slow the Valk and tw@ it in one smooth move ?
Perhaps the rewards should be earned by performing specific guild-oriented tasks, e.g an hours tanking, an hour mats- getting in Abias, gathering a set number of obscure mats, crafting 50k's worth or something earns a credit, and so many credits entitles you to an essence or item. Very rough idea, but you get the gist I'm sure.

Jeez!! You buggers have been busy!! I have two days off and we start to sound organised!! (Then again, perhaps it's cos I wasnt around?) Seriously, damn good idea. We may as well make the most of our crafters skill, they have worked hard to get it and I for one, very much appreciate the fact that they are willing share the SR. WTG fella's!! I would offer my humble armour crafting skills to the cause, but my 23.7 skill, seems a little poor in cmparison to Bodge but with around a 65% success rate, I can still make a profit - The only problem I can forsee is that an extra crafter will reduce the amount of mats available to Bodge, Bar et al......so, I'll stick to the mats runs and will endevour to get some mats at every available re-stock. Keep up the good work guys. ;D

v m8 like the bank idea but have to be careful ppl dont get loan and leave guild.
like mats idea but can we if we do buy mats buy some iron metals, i need em to craft accessories.(for guild obviously).
regarding mats as well, why not put a % of profit made from crafting into a store chara and when in times of need i.e items or guild funds run low this money would be a sort of emergency fund.

Some of you are missing the point here - crafting is a means to an end not the end in its self!! crafting is to raise money (and of course provide items for guild members to use too - and to get our crafters to SR level!!) to enable the money raised to benefit those members that need assistance! Having millions of barrs in the bank is totally useless to us!
M tagged weapons is one such example, essences is another - I'm sure people will have other needs too! Speak up and say what here!!.

Hi guys,
What I think would help you guys are the following:
M-tag weapons for wars (esp spirit crossbow) - Hunting with these is not as good as you might think, well at least that what I figured out with my experiments.
Decent mets for good highest skill weapon crafted. (training dex/skill with a good bloodbow is as good as a normal crossbow of force)
Decent mets for armour/weapons for mid levels - having that extra 1-2 on each piece results in a total of 4-8 more which is very usefull at that level + an extra 1-2 on the weapon. That is not good against high level mobs but against medium level mobs it very very good.
Jewelery esp dex/str +1 and +2. Carry 2 +2 and you end up with an extra +4 dex/str. awsome for warmess (warmess are lower dex then valks ppl).
Ess. Hero is so usefull for training when u have a free sr around.
Noncraftable weapons... these are a need.
Non craftable armour... never bought a piece. too priccy in my opinion. If one of you have sr forget about them.
And last thing to buy are upgrade items. I would try hunting for these instead. hen u start hunting high level mobs they will start showing up. Do no sell them. A C speed apus bow is DEADLY.
Hope it helps people
As in who gets what, I would suggest that council members vote.

I have no objections to any of these ideas and i will let you lot decide how its spent. Council vote on all major expenditure is a must i feel. The only other suggestion I have is maybe to keep 1 mill in stash for buying mats for our crafters. Oh and maybe for me to take back the 100k i put in to hold the guild as i could do with it right now
